飞行模拟器
在飞行模拟器中，玩家成为航空器（飞机或直升机）的飞行员。为此类游戏制作了专门的游戏手柄，外形类似现代战斗机的操纵杆。有些游戏让玩家体验从起飞到完成任务后降落的完整飞行感受，而其他游戏则在空中开始和结束任务。在飞行模拟器中，用户通常执行军事任务，但也有非军事设备的模拟器。此外，驾驶飞机或直升机可能是某个游戏的一部分，例如军事射击游戏。
