GRAY is a platform-puzzle game with elements of an erotic visual novel, about a man who finds himself in the body of a little robot. He wakes in an unfamiliar place and makes his way through rooms filled with traps, unsure why he must keep going. At a bar, he becomes human again, but has no memory of his past or of where he is.
In the platforming sections, the player solves puzzles and navigates obstacles using a dash. In the story sections, the protagonist interacts with other characters. The game also includes minigames, which can be skipped.
