Hate Plus is a science-fiction visual novel and a sequel to Analogue: A Hate Story, centered on an investigation aboard a derelict generation ship. Over a three-day journey back to Earth, the player and an AI girl examine messages left on the ship to uncover what caused its society to decline and how a regressive political program shaped that change.
The story explores transhumanism and the gradual erosion of freedoms, alongside themes of cosplay and cake-baking. Players with a completed Analogue: A Hate Story save can continue from where they left off, while newcomers can start fresh.
