A medieval fantasy real-time strategy game about ruling a kingdom in a procedurally generated world. The player does not directly control the subjects, instead developing a city, managing resources, conducting diplomacy, and using magic. Depending on the chosen approach, a settlement can grow into a trading hub, a fortified outpost, or another kind of domain.
In the campaign or sandbox mode, the player must provide residents with goods and services, establish production, monitor the economy, and research technologies. An army can defend the city from monsters and invasions, while neighboring realms can be trading partners, diplomatic allies, or enemies. Each character has their own behavioral patterns.
