Hero Generations is a roguelike strategy game with 4X elements about carrying a family legacy across generations. Each turn represents a year of the hero’s life, and the player explores a procedurally generated world, seeks fame, finds a mate, and has a child before the hero dies. Control then passes to the child in the same world.
Progress can focus on six paths: strength, exploration, love, wealth, fame, and wisdom. The player can build towns and shape their cultures or travel to distant lands. The connected map spans six worlds with different terrain, including volcanoes, deserts, and islands.
