IL-2 Sturmovik — The single-player campaign reconstructs the famous battles of the Great Patriotic War, giving players the feeling of being participants in those events. The Quick Departure game mode allows you to create the desired mission in just a few clicks. This is a convenient way to get acquainted with equipment and practice combat techniques. The classic multiplayer mode with a convenient lobby makes it possible to meet with comrades on the virtual battlefield — play out various scenarios, compete in air battles and fight on the ground. An additional tool, the Mission Editor, allows experienced users to create their own scenarios of any complexity for single or online play.
