This first-person shooter with ASCII visuals and roguelike and RPG elements follows a conspiracy by the ILLUMINASCII organisation to establish a New World Order across the ASCII lands. The player takes the role of the @ symbol, fighting the organisation’s agents and trying to foil its plot.
Illuminascii randomly generates monsters, weapons, armor, levels, and cutscenes, with their characteristics varying between runs.
