A strategy and management game about leading a guild in a fantasy game world. The player recruits new members and guides the group against increasingly difficult foes. Progress depends on planning how to overcome each encounter while balancing the team’s needs and desires.
Combat differs from that of a typical role-playing game: the leader sets an initial plan, but guild members may act on their own. Each turn, the leader can issue a command to keep the group on track, while items and attention to members’ needs help maintain their morale. Although the setting represents an online game world, It's A Wipe! is a single-player game presented in a style reminiscent of classic role-playing games.
