This first-person adventure with puzzles follows Jimmy Palmer, a young reporter writing about a series of brutal murders in New York’s poor Low Side District. As he investigates the crimes, Palmer searches for witnesses and examines suspects, becoming drawn into a dangerous game with a mysterious killer.
Palmer’s editorials catch the murderer’s attention, and the two begin corresponding through the newspaper. The exchanges lead Jimmy to suspect that the killer is the infamous Jack the Ripper. During the investigation, Palmer befriends Abigail, a singer known as the “Irish Nightingale,” and meets other residents of the district.
