An arcade shooter set in three-dimensional space, Kromaia has players pilot a spacecraft and battle hordes of enemies. Unlike shooters with fixed routes, it allows free movement in every direction, with objectives spread across the environment and enemies to dodge or destroy.

Four spacecraft offer different weapon styles, including rapid-fire guns, homing shots, powerful blasts and melee attacks. The adaptive AI makes opponents tougher as the player performs better, and the challenges include gigantic bosses.
