La•Mulana is an archaeological action-platformer about exploring ancient ruins said to hold the Secret Treasure of Life, the beginning of all civilization. Players control archaeologist Lemeza Kosugi as he ventures into the sprawling complex to uncover its mysteries and find the treasure.
Exploration involves solving puzzles, avoiding traps, and fighting monsters and Guardians with a whip. The mysteries grow more difficult the farther Lemeza ventures into the ruins. Reaching their deepest areas calls for careful investigation and quick reflexes, as dangers await throughout the complex.
