This sandbox survival adventure combines building, crafting, exploration, and role-playing elements in a procedurally generated world. In Lantern Forge, players gather resources to build a home, grow crops, and make weapons, armor, tools, food, and furnishings. Combat uses an isometric hack-and-slash system, while four skill trees unlock abilities for combat and survival.
Exploration takes players through eight biomes with distinct resources and monsters. Dungeons and temples contain enemies and guarded treasures, while equipment can be enchanted and enhanced with gems. Building a town center opens merchant stands for trading, and 90 underground levels hold rare materials. The world also features plant growth and a day-and-night cycle.
