Love Esquire is a romantic visual novel with RPG elements in which a squire seeks a partner in the few months before he is sent to war. Rather than playing a renowned knight, the protagonist serves a knight and meets five women, each with her own ambitions, backstory, and secrets.
The player develops the squire’s strength, charisma, and intelligence, attributes that affect both combat and relationships. In turn-based battles, he supports his knight by taunting enemies, cheering, healing, and collecting loot. Gifts and choices help build relationships with the women and influence how the romances unfold and which ending the story reaches.
