This turn-based Japanese role-playing game is set in the world of LUNAR, a thousand years after the events of LUNAR: Silver Star Story. Hiro and his companion Ruby explore the Blue Spire, where they find a mysterious young girl, then set out to find the goddess Althena, whose power may stop dark forces from reviving the evil Zophar and plunging the world into darkness.
The party travels across distant lands, crosses snow-covered mountain peaks, and explores dungeons. Along the way, the heroes battle monsters, while animated sequences and dialogue advance the story.
