Massive Assault is a strategy wargame. The game takes place in 2056, after the end of World War III. One of the parties to the conflict, the Democratic Alliance, defeated its opponent, the Axis of Evil. After a temporary lull and progress in development, unrest and revolution began in the world. Some united into the Union of Free Nations, and in contrast to them, the Dark League appeared, uniting all dissenters and powerful military corporations. The player controls the armies of the Free Nations and tries to defend their territories from the aggressor.
