Mechanic Miner is a construction and survival game set in a physics-based sandbox on a strange, hostile planet. The player explores its biomes, gathers raw materials and uses a multitool to craft parts for steam-powered machines. These contraptions help overcome obstacles and fight hostile creatures and plants. More than 70 parts and building blocks are available, and the physics simulation affects how machines behave.
In Survival Mode, the player starts without resources and must explore, gather materials, research technologies, build devices and fight enemies. Aether Storms also threaten the planet. Creative Mode provides unlimited resources, immortality and flight, while blueprints let players save constructions for use in other modes.
