This action platformer follows Mega Man as he tries to restore peace after Dr. Wily takes control of several robots in an attempt to rule the planet. The levels feature altered map layouts and item placements, alongside new bosses and puzzles.
A level editor lets players create stages by placing enemies and objects and choosing music, then share their creations. Mega Man Challenge 100 offers 100 short stages with individual objectives, and the game can also be played as any of its eight boss robots, each with abilities suited to getting past obstacles.
