Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is a third-person action game set in war-torn Venezuela, where a power-hungry dictator’s interference with the oil supply sparks an invasion. The player takes the role of a mercenary who accepts contracts from a range of clients, profiting from the conflict while carrying out each job according to a personal code.
The game unfolds in an open world where military and civilian vehicles—including tanks, APCs, boats, and cars—can be used. Equipment and vehicles can be delivered, purchased, or seized in the field, and can also be destroyed. Contracts can be completed solo or in a cooperative mode with another player.
