This flight simulator centres on piloting the MiG-29 fighter and engaging in battles for air superiority. Its flight model was developed with input from MiG-29 test pilot Yuri Prikhodko, and the aircraft can perform aerobatic manoeuvres including the tailslide and the Pugachev’s Cobra. The interactive cockpit and eight camera views provide ways to monitor the aircraft and its surroundings.

The single-player mode includes 40 missions, while multiplayer offers 12: six deathmatches and six cooperative Air War missions. A mission design tool lets players create their own sorties. Online battles through NovaWorld feature MiG-29s, F-16s and F-22s, with more than 120 aircraft able to share an arena.
