This tactical role-playing game is set across twelve Zodiac worlds threatened by an ancient force awakening from a long sleep. Chou-Chou and her companions join forces with the ultimate goddess Syrma to stop the threat and save the worlds. Mugen Souls Z continues the story of the first game in the series, bringing back familiar characters alongside a new cast.

Players explore expansive worlds and fight in turn-based 3D battles, using skills and crystals. Enemies can be charmed and transformed into Shampurus, which power up the spacefaring G-Castle. The game also lets players create and develop their own peons and fuse them to strengthen the party. The Mugen Field offers additional challenges and further opportunities to level up.
