NBA 2K13 — The game developers managed to create a deeper career mode, including deal approval, complex contract negotiations and social media elements. A new type of dribbling was also introduced — "freestyle control", similar to the same ability in the NBA Live series. The legendary teams from NBA 2K12 and the Celebrity team, consisting of American celebrities, have been returned to the game. For the first time in the series, these commands were available online. Additionally, NBA 2K13 interacts with the Kinect controller via voice commands on the Xbox 360 version.
