Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 — changes were made to Ryu's weapons. Enma's Fang, a two-handed sword, has been added as a new melee weapon. Incendiary Shurikens were removed for two reasons: opening up paths and their strength due to the removal of ammo amounts, and are instead Ayane's primary thrown weapon. The Devil's Curse Bow, now with unlimited ammo, has had its Ultimate Technique removed. The replacement was the Howling Cannon, a heavy cannon with a low projectile velocity. Additional remote weapons include a windmill shuriken and a Gatling harpoon gun. The weapon upgrade system has also been changed to limit upgrades, only allowing one upgrade at a time in the store. In addition, you can only improve weapons in stores where the blue light is on; items can be purchased from both types of stores.
