This pet-care simulation centers on raising and training a puppy, taking it for walks, and preparing it for competitions. The player can pet and bathe the dog, teach it tricks using voice commands, and improve its agility by throwing discs and balls. Puppies vary in gender, coloration, and personality.
Obedience, agility, and disc competitions offer prize money that can be spent on supplies and other breeds; eventually, additional puppies can join the original one. Walks around town let the dog meet other neighborhood dogs and find toys, while visits to the park and gym provide training for competitions. Training increases the puppy’s stamina, allowing it to explore farther. The game also supports wireless interaction with friends’ Nintendogs.
