A turn-based strategy game about mechanized warfare in the near future, Ogre adapts the tabletop wargame from Steve Jackson Games. On irradiated battlefields, players command tanks, marines, infantry, hovercraft and massive AI-powered war machines called Ogres, each powerful enough to match a battalion of tanks and infantry.

Battles call for tactical decisions, with terrain and defensive positions affecting how units withstand attacks. The campaign features new missions, while other modes include solo skirmishes against AI opponents, a tutorial and turn-based multiplayer, played online or locally. Players can choose the North American Combine or the Paneuropean Federation and deploy different tank classes, infantry, marines, howitzers, trains, command posts and Ogres.
