This sports game based on the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona features seven events: the 100 metres, 110-metre hurdles, hammer throw, archery, pole vault, 200-metre freestyle swimming and 3-metre springboard diving. Most events rely on rapidly pressing buttons, while archery and diving use different controls; swimming unfolds at a slower pace.
Players can practise, compete in a mini-Olympics with the option to disable events, or take part in the full Olympics. Three difficulty levels affect computer-controlled athletes’ results: at the highest level, they can set world and Olympic records. In Olympic modes, competitors earn points according to their finishing positions.
