A tactical strategy game set in the Onimusha universe, it follows Onimaru, a young warrior of the Ogre clan, on a quest to defeat Nobunaga and his Genma armies. In turn-based battles, he relies on demonic powers and sword skills, while the player manages resources and equipment, gathers allies, and recruits warriors. Souls absorbed from fallen enemies provide Ogre stones, which can be used to create new items.
