This top-down adventure puzzle game follows Alabama Smith as he explores the ancient Aztec pyramid of Paganitzu. After accidentally releasing a powerful spirit that threatens the world, he ventures deeper into the ruins in search of clues that could help stop it.

Players navigate dangerous chambers, solve puzzles, and uncover treasures and hidden rooms. Different routes lead toward the goal, and some situations and animated sequences can be missed even when completing the game. The adventure is divided into three parts, set in different areas of the pyramid.
