This role-playing game with turn-based battles returns players to the Johto region, first introduced in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver. The hero travels through its varied environments, encounters and catches Pokémon, and battles with them.
A Pokémon from the team can follow the hero outside of battle and interact with them. The game features updated graphics and touchscreen features, as well as support for the Pokéwalker accessory, which lets players take Pokémon along.
