Pokémon Colosseum — The game uses a third-person perspective. The player controls a Pokémon trainer named Wes, who travels around the game world. A moped is used to move between locations. In various locations, to advance through the story, the player has to complete quests and also participate in turn-based battles with other Pokemon trainers. Unlike the main Pokémon series handheld games, the game does not feature random encounters with wild Pokémon, and therefore Pokémon cannot be caught.
