Project AURA is a city-building strategy and simulation game about a colony of people who survived a climate disaster and must establish a habitable settlement in a changed world. The player develops the colony from scratch and builds a habitat capable of supporting its residents.
Citizens learn their assigned jobs, while the player manages their training and specialisation. Expanding the city involves constructing buildings and platforms and developing technology, production and research. The colony can trade or pursue self-sufficiency, while exploring the remains of 21st-century civilisation yields valuable resources and components that can be reused to craft items.
