This endless roguelike brawler follows an enraged, four-legged cephalopod descending to the ocean floor to defeat Pete, the evil god of the sea, and his army of abyssal creatures. Levels, weapons, and enemies are generated procedurally, and each run continues until the hero is defeated.
Combat involves dodging and blocking attacks, stabbing and smashing enemies, and spinning to strike. Along the way, the hero can find artifacts with special effects, spend orbs on upgrades, and unlock gameplay-altering rewards. The descent also includes five boss fights.
