This futuristic shooter follows Earth’s last pilot as the Bydo Empire launches an assault on humanity. In R-Type 3: The Third Lightning, the pilot takes an untested R-90 into levels filled with enemy forces, large bosses, and obstacles.
As the campaign progresses, the player can earn Force pods: Round Force, Shadow Force, and Cyclone Force. Each equips the ship with a different set of weapons.
