This post-apocalyptic first-person rail shooter casts the player as a contestant on Mutant Bash TV, a brutal game show where mutants hunt their prey. The player searches each level for ammunition and cash while fighting back with a pistol, shotgun or machine gun.
Rage HD features three locations: the mutant-infested Tenements, the Asylum, overrun by the deranged, and a Bunker that is not quite abandoned. Mutant Bash TV challenges reward hit streaks and Bash Bux, which contribute to performance, and each level has four difficulty settings. Levels can be replayed to beat the player’s previous score.
