This action-adventure with platforming elements continues the events of Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. Ratchet resumes his search for Clank and ends up on a remote island on the planet Merdegraw, where he encounters hostile alien races and allies with Rusty Pete, Captain Slag’s first mate. The clues he finds point toward the treasure of Captain Angstrom Darkwater and the mysterious Fulcrum Star.
Using a new wrench, Ratchet pushes, pulls, and moves objects to solve puzzles. Dark areas must be illuminated to deal with the enemies that dwell there, while pirate puzzles involve mixing brews, manipulating shadows, and playing tunes.
