Survival in a low-poly world combines exploration, combat, building, and adventure. In Re.Poly, players gather resources, craft tools, equipment, and decorations, and grow crops to produce food. The game can be played solo or with friends.

Players can build a home from scratch, then decorate, recolor, and expand it. Animals can be bought from NPCs or captured in the open world, bred, and used for their resources; mounts are available for travel. Character customization includes appearance and clothing colors.
