This nonlinear side-scrolling action platformer follows Divine, a young goddess who enters her own subconscious to recover her powers and uncover the mysteries of her past. Her mind contains a planet of forests, mountains, and caves, where dark thoughts and an invisible enemy known as the Narrator threaten her.

Divine can jump, interact with the environment, and move objects with telekinesis. Players can also control her Rage and Fear personas, whose combat abilities help defeat enemies; one mask may follow Divine and turn against her when certain traps are activated. Finding pieces of ancient armor unlocks skills and access to new areas. Divine can possess enemies and move elements of the planet while exploring and overcoming obstacles.
