This 3D twin-stick shooter is set in a future where a virus has wiped out most of humanity and machines have risen against the survivors. Resistance fighter Guy infiltrates enemy territory to carry out sabotage missions in the underground catacombs of a robot factory and investigate the source of the virus.
The story mode features eight levels, while Survival Mode offers twenty arenas with randomly selected enemies and maps. The player can use 15 weapons across five types and spend scrap and technology salvaged from destroyed enemies to create and upgrade weapons and armor. Cover, destructible objects, and dodge rolls help avoid enemy fire, while ammunition and reload timing must be managed during combat.
