This turn-based dungeon crawler is set in Frostmourn Keep and the dungeons beneath it, in the World's End Mountains. The goal is to overthrow the current king and claim the throne. Rogue's Tale has no fixed character classes: talents and spells let players shape a character to suit their preferred approach.
Dungeons and encounters are randomly generated, and character deaths are permanent. Learning the game mechanics provides ways to counter those deaths, while heritages make subsequent characters stronger. Challenges become available as players get to grips with the game.
