Rotastic is a 2D arcade game built around swinging through levels and completing objectives. Players collect items, avoid traps, fight opponents, smash brick barriers and perform aerial tricks; some challenges combine several of these tasks. The controls use a simple swinging mechanic, while the objectives call for quick reactions and careful timing.

The solo campaign spans seven worlds and nearly 70 levels, with varied objectives and increasing difficulty. Level results can be compared with other players’ records. Local multiplayer supports up to four participants in item-collecting races or deathmatches.
