This rugby sports simulation centres on the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France, with the player leading a national side through a six-week campaign in pursuit of the Webb Ellis Cup. The campaign involves managing squad rotation and injuries, while an in-game information hub tracks the tournament’s progress.
Defensive tactics can be adjusted during a match according to the score, field position and the opponent’s attacking style. Players control scrums, mauls and lineout throws, and use a kicking meter for goal attempts. The World Cup Challenge mode recreates more than 30 moments from the tournament’s history using modern national teams.
