Solar Struggle is an arcade space shooter about a young pilot whose convoy comes under attack in the distant future. Humanity has spread across the solar system, where mining colonies and powerful corporations attract people seeking to profit at the expense of workers; the vast distances make it difficult for the military to maintain order. The story unfolds across 11 missions.
Players pilot one of nine ships and fight enemy forces. The game world is 3D, but combat takes place on a 2D plane. Alongside the story missions, a skirmish mode pits players against large numbers of enemies.
