Soundodger+ combines bullet-hell-style dodging with rhythm-game play, setting choreographed attacks to music by a range of artists. The player weaves between hazards timed to each track, with multiple difficulty levels available for most of them. Hidden hearts can help withstand tougher sections; carrying them through to the end unlocks additional tracks and modes.
The Level Editor lets players create their own stages, while Auto-Gen builds a level from selected music. Community-made levels offer further challenges. A slow-motion ability can ease the pace, and Zen mode removes scorekeeping.
