This open-world space game begins with a small ship and limited capital. Players can take contracts, hunt pirates, escort traders and defend stations, as well as mine asteroids and haul cargo. Trade revolves around supply and demand: stations produce and consume different resources, and prices change accordingly.
Ships can be upgraded with modules and reconfigured, while additional vessels can be bought or captured to build a fleet for different roles. Players explore dynamically generated locations and unknown sectors, build stations and factories, develop production, and research technologies. In multiplayer, they can form corporations and compete with others, pursuing activities ranging from trading and mining to hunting pirates and exploring.
