This third-person action platformer takes SpongeBob SquarePants characters through strange versions of Bikini Bottom and other fantastical worlds. The story unfolds across nine levels with distinct visual styles.

Gameplay shifts between rampaging, flying, skydiving, chase sequences, and hot rod racing. Plankton grows gigantic and wreaks havoc in Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob flies through the jaws of an enormous bull worm, and Patrick navigates an asteroid field in space. As Starfishman, the player enters the pages of a comic book.
