This first-person espionage adventure and simulation follows an investigation into an assassination plot that threatens the fragile peace established after the Cold War. The player takes the role of a CIA operative: after a Russian presidential candidate is assassinated, the agency receives a tip that the US president may be in danger, and the operative must uncover a network of rogue spies.
During the investigation, the player surveils double agents, intercepts radio transmissions, and uses the tools of a CIA operative. The 3D puzzles draw on real-world covert tactics, while moral choices shape the consequences of the operative’s actions. The story combines interactive sequences with video footage, still photographs, and archival material from the CIA.
