A galactic trading simulation about a space entrepreneur aiming to profit from interplanetary commerce and meet a self-set goal without going bankrupt. Each playthrough features a randomly generated universe and items, while demand on different planets shifts as the game progresses. At the start, the player chooses one of four ships, each with its own advantages.

The player buys and sells goods, transports passengers, bargains with rogue traders and invests in company stocks and funds. Ships can be upgraded with weapons, more cargo and passenger space, or a larger fuel tank. The journey also brings battles against four pirate clans, with different combat strategies to choose from, as well as stops at the Galactic Casino and other bonuses.
