Set in the Star Wars galaxy after the destruction of the first Death Star, this grand strategy game pits the still-powerful Galactic Empire against the Rebel Alliance. The player commands either faction and seeks control of the galaxy by winning worlds through military force, diplomacy, or covert operations.
The strategic layer involves managing production and resources, deploying fleets, and assigning missions. Up to 200 worlds can be brought to a faction’s loyalty or resentment. Fleet engagements unfold as 3D battle sequences in which the player commands the ships.
