Starscape is an arcade space shooter about the last pilot aboard the research station Aegis, whose crew has gone missing and whose weapon systems are ruined. To restore the station’s defenses and escape a dimension called the Grid, the pilot explores its zones and mines asteroids for resources.
The gathered materials support research and weapon construction, while alien technology can be used to configure a fleet of fighters. Allies encountered in the Grid’s nodes can provide assistance through alliances and technology trades. Progress involves recovering the drive components, rescuing the missing crew and uncovering why they were brought to the Grid.
