This fighting game collection brings together four entries in the Street Fighter Alpha series—Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold, and Street Fighter Alpha 3—alongside Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix. Arcade mode pits a fighter against computer-controlled opponents, Versus mode lets two players choose characters for head-to-head matches, and Training mode is for practicing moves and combos.
All four Alpha games also include Survival and Dramatic Battle modes, in which two characters team up against one opponent. The first Street Fighter Alpha introduces Super Combos and Alpha Counters, while Street Fighter Alpha 2 adds moves, high and low Alpha Counters, and the Custom Combo system, which uses the Super meter to perform multi-hit combos.
