SUGURI is a side-scrolling anime shoot-’em-up in which the heroine battles enemies and bosses that fill the screen with missiles and energy attacks. Automatic lock-on assists with targeting, while the arsenal includes hyper weapons and power shields.

The game has seven challenging stages and boss encounters with fighting-game-like elements. Additional weapons unlock as the player progresses and can be mixed and matched; careful aiming and timely dodging help withstand the incoming barrage.
